You can’t change the family dynamic you had, but you can choose the family dynamic you want to have. Maybe you’ve tried talking to your parent(s) as an adult about dysfunctional patterns and old wounds, but you still feel frustrated and unresolved. You want to repair or maintain relationships, but aren’t sure how. I offer a neutral space for you and your parent(s) to process the past, understand your current dynamic, and create new ways of relating. Together we’ll practice perspective-taking, empathic communication, and acceptance, so you may create a relationship that feels supportive and authentic.
